Hi all, first of all, I'd like to apologise for typing this blog in English as I'm very slow at typing in Mandarin. You may reply in Mandarin if you wish though, its reali ok. Well, perhaps I shd have started this blog earlier but we (Boyz Frenz) were too busy training and attending "tong1 gao4" and also, we dun have a telephone line thus no internet connection in our apartment. :(
To speak the truth, I' had been overwhelmed by our fans, you guys/gals were great! I reali felt the warmth here for the 1st time, especially while having the fear of people not coming for the fans meeting n press conference. When we arrived there, I realised that the fear was uncalled for, haha, so many of you were there to give us ur support! I believed there cld have been more if not for the rain...sigh, we were so worried abt the show being cancelled coz the rain started at 3pm and ended 15mins b4 the show, thank God we got to perform...alot of hard work you knw! The dance steps for Honey n Boyfriend were taught a few days b4 the show n I hope we didnt disappoint u. Since ur opinions mattered alot, how do u tink we fared?
The media n press had mixed feelings though, some thought its was good, some thought it was bad. The bad things being, 1) we didn't have strong bonding while talking n answering the press eg. interrupting each others speech, 2) pitch problems in singing, 3) heavy make-up (me!), they actuali tot tat i was GAY! 4) We were trying to use Fei Lun Hai's popularity...and some others I cant rmb...We were depressed for awhile but I guess there must be an element of truth in wat others say rite? I, Darren as the leader of Boyz Frenz, wld like to thank the presses who thought we did well for your kind support, we'll continue to strive for the better, and also I wld like to thank the presses who thought we did badly coz without u, we wldnt knw our mistakes and improve for the better. As anxiety took us over, we started blabbing things n cutting into each others sentences....I almost went out of tune when I tried to smile to a group of fans who shouted my name during "Oh My", but I LIKE! I love to be called! haha, juz need some getting used to, so try to scream n scream next time, I promise to wave back whenever I can...They were quite a number of Boyz Frenz's banners and 1 was held upside down, so cute ah...
As a matter of fact, to be singing n dancing is quite tiring, more so if u didnt get enuff slp the previous day, I was perspiring like a pig after Honey tat day, probably we shd start finding some time to go 2 e gym or jogging...
We respect Fei Lun Hai alot, they're the hottest group rite now and if some1 wishes to compare us to them, we're very honoured to be frank, but if some1 tinks we wana challange them, Im sori, I personally dun tink we have tat intention or the capability yet. U dun challange Michael Jordan for a slam dunk or David Beckham for a free-kick or Brad Pitt for good-looks rite? I only can say tat they are definitely a group we cld look up to and work our way towards tat goal, I mean, doesnt everybody wana be like a Jordan/Beckham/Pitt, who excels in their field of work? Jordan mite not have been a Jordan had he not have Julius Erving to look up to, Beckham mite not have been Beckham had he not have Maradona to look up to, Brad Pitt mite not have being Brad Pitt had he not have...well, I guess Brad Pitt wld still have been Brad Pitt coz he was born so damn good-looking, the world's so unfair yea...ANYWAY, i tink u got my point. So so so, if some1 is soooo against me toking abt a topic so much, wldnt it be better if he/she stop asking abt topic coz if u ask and i answer, then u blame me for starting the topic, its down-right unfair too, its as unfair as Brad Pitt being born so good-looking(of coz lets not deny his talent!). Wu Chun will still be someone I look up to and if we mention this again, dun seem surprise k?
Ah, the make-up...the heavily made-up Darren from Boyz Frenz. Wat happened was, when I came to KL a couple of months ago, I had a sudden pimples outbreak, so stress during then coz MV shoot and photo shoot, were all scheduled at abt the same time, many of my scenes from our MV were taken off coz my pimples still cld be seen...I was quite guilty for spoiling the MV, at the same time quite sad for some of my parts being taken off...Actuali pimples have nv been a problem even during my puberty years until recently, and IT HAS TO HAPPEN WHEN WE'RE GONA LAUNCH AN ALBUM! And the constant make-up is not making it any better. Well well, I reckon tat I shd feel glad tat it has recovered quite abit after some medication but my face still has some red marks which my doctor said it wld take some time for them to disappear. Im on some treatment now n I hope to see it improve some more...so i wldnt be criticised for having on "thick make-ups".
I'll update my blog every now n then when I have the chance n internet connection. I love writing n reading despite of the warning I've been given by some ppl in writing a blog like these; I feel tat we're all very human n its reali very human to have such problems n faults; we're juz like every1 else n working hard for our dreams. I'd luv to hear ur comments too.
Study hard and read more books, I used to dislike reading and had to force myself to read, gradually I realised tat every book has a story to tell, has some learning values, and makes u look at the world in a different perspective...It temporarily makes u lead a different life, its a good "get-away' and it kills time! Best of all, it makes the brain think. My pick of the day, Mitch Albom's "For One More Day". Till then, Ciao!
P.S. I've spelt many words in short form coz I tot its more fun and less formal this way. I dun advise ppl to type in tis manner yea!
